Eurobike 2006 showed it: More and more manufacturers are expanding their range to include women's bikes. No, they are no longer shrunken, heavy men's frames with thick saddles, cheap components and pink-coloured paintwork. We were told at various trade fair stands that serious thought had now been given to female geometry and suspension. And it's true: In future, women will no longer have to be talked into rickety touring bombers in bike shops. We found a number of manufacturers at the trade fair who have taken the "women's" trend seriously and have obviously realised it: Finally, small frames are also available with high-priced equipment.
