If you're looking for a very sporty all-mountain bike, the Trek Fuel EX is the bike for you. Low weight (light frame/fork), long, sporty geometry, marathon-compatible suspension. The "Root Beer" colour makes the bike a real eye-catcher. Fox increased the travel of the F210 fork by one centimetre especially for Trek, yet the suspension remains on the sporty side. Downhill, the narrow tyres and the sporty riding position mean that you have to concentrate, but the Fuel EX can easily keep up with the best riders on the climbs.
CONCLUSIONS: Long-travel marathon racer with great looks. The Trek Fuel EX is aimed at the sporty pace in difficult terrain.
TUNING TIP: fit wider tyres for difficult terrain.
