Attention fun guarantee! The young Swiss brand Scor focusses on trail fun, downhill quality and good handling.

And the developers have absolutely succeeded with the 4060 Z ST. No other bike in the test field is so manoeuvrable, agile and fun to ride on the trail - without feeling nervous or unsafe. It is easy to get onto the rear wheel and manoeuvre nimbly around corners. A real trail bike! With its 140 millimetres of travel at the rear, it feels a little firmer and more direct than some of the other candidates. But if you give the bike a good spur, you will be rewarded with a lot of riding confidence, even in enduro terrain.

Conclusion on the Scor 4060 Z ST XT

Sporty, potent trail speedster for experienced riders. Agile and fun like no other bike, also due to its low weight. Good range, but nothing for leisurely excursions.

Even on his very first tour, he focussed on single trails - and even after more than 30 years in the saddle of an MTB, these are still the quintessence of biking for him. He spent his youth competing in various bike disciplines and later his cycling career was characterised by years as a riding technique coach. Professionally, the experienced test editor now focusses on e-mountainbikes. In recent years, the qualified sports scientist and trained journalist has tested over 300 bikes and more than 40 different motor systems in the laboratory and in practice.
