Brevity is the spice of life: A short rear triangle means manoeuvrability. Haibike achieves this with a high swingarm pivot point.

To ensure that the drive remains unaffected, the chain is guided (noisily) via a pulley. All other frame dimensions are also quite short for frame height M. This means you sit quite high on the bike. On steep climbs, you have to keep the front wheel firmly on the ground. Downhill and on singletrack, however, the short geometry is a lot of fun. The extremely sensitive suspension with enormous reserves plays a decisive role in this. On high-speed descents, the Xduro needs a steady hand.

Conclusion: Chic, playful trail bike with slight weaknesses on the climbs. Downhill, the bike offers great fun potential thanks to its super suspension, but requires a more experienced rider.

Background noise: A pulley directly on the swingarm pivot point on the Haibike is intended to decouple the rear triangle from drive influences. Unfortunately, the pulley causes noise when riding. The Bosch drive is already loud without a pulley.Photo: Markus Greber Background noise: A pulley directly on the swingarm pivot point on the Haibike is intended to decouple the rear triangle from drive influences.
