Bikes from the mail-order company Rose are known for their good price-performance ratio. The Rose Root Miller 2 is the all-mountain bike from Bocholt.

The bike shines with a solid aluminium frame, 150 millimetres of travel and modern geometry. Off-road, the Rose Root Miller 2 with its long chainstays and flat steering angle shows its smooth-running side. This also gives less experienced riders confidence. Active riders, on the other hand, will miss the playfulness. Because of the geometry, the Root Miller can only be pushed around tight bends with a lot of pressure. The same applies to the suspension: comfort is more important here. The rear easily releases the entire suspension travel and swallows large obstacles with ease. With an active riding style, there is a lack of support in the middle suspension travel. Energy is wasted on jumps and when pushing through berms.

The grippy Maxxis tyre combination with stable Exo+ carcass offers plenty of grip, puncture protection and is perfect for use in alpine terrain. On uphills, the rear end reacts with constant pitching. The platform is therefore a must on longer climbs. On the other hand, the steep seat angle ensures a propulsion-orientated riding position. Coupled with the sweeping rear end, even steep ramps are no problem. Otherwise, you sit upright and comfortably on the Rose Root Miller. Perfect for long days in the saddle. The agility suffers from the high overall weight and the somewhat sluggish rolling wheels of the MTB. A large part of the excess weight is due to the 3340 gram frame. The equipment with Formula stoppers and sophisticated Shimano components works perfectly.
