The addition of the name Race already suggests that the Steppenwolf is orientated more towards the marathon. The suspension with almost 120 millimetres of travel could do even more.

Off-road, the test crew attested to the bike's firm, "not very smooth" suspension, which nevertheless harmonised well. Thanks to the fairly stretched seating position, the Tayma rode well uphill, but paid tribute to its manoeuvrability on the downhill. Schwalbe's Racing Ralph is sufficient for marathon use, but the heavy performance version is unsuitable in this price range. With Steppenwolf, you can choose your own equipment thanks to the modular system.

PLUS Powerful propulsion, high-quality shifting components
MINUS Inexpensive tyre model and crank (Shimano FC-M552)
