In our practical test, the Santa Cruz Hightower S Carbon C turns out to be a versatile trail bike with enduro genes.

If it were purely a question of suspension travel, you would have to new Santa Cruz Hightower classically categorised as an all-mountain bike. But we also took the stylish Californian with the shock now positioned low in the frame for a visit to the bike park - and were thoroughly impressed. With a decent reach and low bottom bracket, the rider is well positioned in the frame.
