The Rose Jabba Wood doesn't just have a funny name, it's also a guarantee of fun, where the fork, shock and wheels are more important than the gears.

The Jabba Wood with its 130 millimetres of travel (front and rear) is the clear guarantee of fun on the downhill crown. The Rock Shox suspension elements make for a slightly firmer impression than their Fox counterparts, but can be fully utilised with 100/170 PSI at 75 kilos. Light and shade in the spec: SRAM X5 groupset and the affordable Active Line tyre compound are offset by lightweight DT system wheels and a great, lightweight frame (two thru-axles, internally routed cables). However, this doesn't hinder the riding fun. Only those who climb a lot should push the saddle forwards due to the slack seat angle. Good: The frame is prepared for a second bottle cage.

Conclusionfun guarantee, where fork, shock and wheels are more important than gears.

Rose is the only manufacturer in the field to use the X12 thru-axle at the rear. This makes sense for downhill-orientated bikes.Photo: Daniel Simon Rose is the only manufacturer in the field to use the X12 thru-axle at the rear. This makes sense for downhill-orientated bikes. Plenty of usable suspension travel for the All Mountain Sport class: With over 130 millimetres of travel at the rear and fork, downhill-oriented bikers get their money's worth. The Sektor fork works harmoniously with the Monarch shock from Rock Shox, as the flat, very linear characteristics show. The set-up is very good here.Photo: BIKE Magazin Plenty of usable suspension travel for the All Mountain Sport class: With over 130 millimetres of travel at the rear and fork, downhill-oriented bikers get their money's worth.
