Last year, the Radon Slide already shone as an adult all-mountain. Nothing has changed in terms of character in 2010, although the bike has become around 300 grams lighter. Despite the short stem, the riding position is sporty and the wide Syntace cockpit (70 mm handlebars) is impressive. The steep seat angle and height adjustment make climbing steep ramps easier. The suspension (top Fox parts) shows no drive influences, works sensitively and utilises the suspension travel on the downhill. The lightweight wheels give the bike fast legs, the 2.4-inch Rocket Ron tyres are no all-mountain monsters, but at least they are better than narrow 2.2-inch tyres. Very sensible and high-quality equipment.
ConclusionThe Slide is a well-balanced all-mountain bike and covers a wide range of use. One of the best bikes in the test!
