You can't go wrong with the Radon Slide 150 10.0. An all-mountain by definition with high-quality equipment at an attractive price.

Radon has completely revised its successful Slide model and brought it up to the current state of the art. The frame has one centimetre more travel at the rear, thru-axle, butted head tube and more tyre clearance at the rear. Radon compensates for the relatively high chassis weight with the lightest wheels in this test group, which pays off with good acceleration. Together with the comfortable riding position and uncomplicated handling, the bike is a joy to ride both uphill and downhill. Uphill and especially when pedalling, however, the rear end works a lot and the platform does little to help - we would like a firmer factory setting. Downhill, the rear end sits perfectly on the ground, provides feedback and utilises the travel. All the testers liked the geometry very much, and when comparing the data you realise that the Votec has almost identical dimensions - and also rides comparably convincingly. As with the Votec, the € 2999 price tag is a challenge.

ConclusionYou can't go wrong with the Slide 150. An all-mountain by definition with high-quality equipment at an attractive price.

PLUS Very good Syntace cockpit, successful equipment. Well-balanced geometry.
MINUS Damper needs a more effective platform.
