Twentyniner for girls! The Specialized carbon frame, lightweight wheels and the 80-millimetre race fork make the bike a weapon on the climbs. So women can really let it fly.

The girls thought the sporty riding position was great and, like the tyres and suspension fork, "perfectly fine" for a race bike. Thanks to the Matchmaker clamp, the tidy cockpit is unique in the test field, as is the tool-free brake lever adjustment. The large wheels result in smooth handling and, in combination with the thin seat post, provide noticeable riding comfort. Ladylike: chainrings with 38-24 teeth, 170 mm short crank.

PLUS Weight, tool-free lever adjustment, gear ratio
MINUS No quick-release saddle, favourable crank
