The Canadians from Norco send an eye-catcher into the race. You immediately realise that the bike was not developed for the German market. There is no height adjustment on the fork, the stem is too long and the tyres are far too narrow. 2.1 inch tyres are no longer used even in cross country. Uphill you have a hard time with the high front end, the rear end bobs a lot, it contracts under chain tension. Downhill, the bike feels windy, lacks steering precision and the brakes are weak (small disc). The suspension works well downhill. The equipment is comparatively meagre for the money, competitors offer a Fox RlC fork - the R only has rebound.
ConclusionNorco's Fluid leaves an unbalanced impression. Weaknesses in the chassis and in the choice of equipment.
