Industry giant Cube is starting the 2023 season with three new mountain bike models and is renovating its MTB full-suspension range from trail to enduro. Visually, all new Cube Stereo ONE models bear the same signature and are based on lightweight carbon frames with four-link kinematics. Only the enduro MTB ONE77 is still available in two aluminium models. The latest generation completely dispenses with the top tube, which is split in two towards the seat tube, as is the case with the current Stereo ONE22. Instead, the designations ONE44, ONE55 and ONE77 fit perfectly into the Cube Stereo model range, even if the exact suspension travel cannot be deduced from this.
Here you can find detailed Presentation of the other new Cube Stereo bikes for 2023:
With 160 millimetres of travel on the fork and 150 millimetres on the rear triangle, the new Cube Stereo ONE55 is positioned at the heart of the all-mountain segment. It thus replaces the familiar Stereo 150 which in the past was even used by the Cube Action Enduro Team has been used successfully. The entry-level price of the new Cube Stereo 150 successor is also well below the 4000 euro mark at 3499 euros. Depending on the equipment variant, Cube promises a slim weight from 13 kilograms. Just like the ONE44 trail bike, the new ONE55 also has a storage compartment in the down tube, as we know it from mountain bikes from Trek, Specialized or Santa Cruz. A newly developed mini-tool with 24 functions is already integrated into the two top models.
Both the ONE55 and the Stereo ONE44 are available in four equipment variants. The two most expensive models of the all-mountain bike come with another absolute novelty: a Cube handlebar/stem unit made of carbon, which is designed to weigh very little and fits beautifully into the overall picture. All cables and lines are also routed into the frame via the headset on the Cube Stereo ONE55. According to the manufacturer, the mid-priced TM model - Stereo ONE55 C:62 TM - should weigh 13.6 kilos without pedals. As the Cube Stereo ONE55 and ONE44 are only available with a carbon frame, all models have an integrated storage compartment in the down tube. The down tube is now accessible via a flap under the bottle cage and offers space for spare parts and tools. A newly developed mini-tool with 24 functions is already integrated in the two top models of the 150 mm bike from Cube.
