Mondraker Foxy Carbon RR vs. Alchemy Arktos 29
With their fast-forward geometry, the Spaniards from Mondraker were pioneers of bikes with a long reach. In contrast, the American luxury brand Alchemy represents compact geometries.

Nuances in the geometry are barely visible to the naked eye. The Mondraker and Alchemy are different. The Foxy appears crouched low and stretched out like a leopard before the jump with its generous 484 rake and clear lines. In contrast, the Alchemy Arktos looks upright and compact, which is confirmed by the almost 50 millimetre shorter reach with the same frame height. With 151 (Foxy) and 140 millimetres of travel at the rear and a 160 mm fork, the two 29ers are somewhere between all-mountain and enduro. Thanks to the solid tyres, they land above the 14-kilo mark ready to ride with pedals, whereby the Mondraker weighs 440 grams less.

You can find out who will be the faster in this test duel in the PDF available in the download area below (including geometry data, lab results and BIKE verdict).
