Lapierre Overvolt: lowered batteries for the Bosch motor
Lapierre has come up with something special in the design of its 2020 Bosch models: The Bosch motor has been rotated and the battery lowered.

In order to integrate the longer 625 Powertube battery as deeply as possible, the new Bosch motor has been rotated so that the battery can be removed from the bottom of the down tube. Another advantage: the down tube does not have to be cut open and thus retains its rigid basic shape. The Overvolt AM (top photo) has an aluminium frame, 160 millimetres of suspension travel and 27.5 mm tyres.

But 29er fans will also find what they are looking for at Lapierre. The Overvolt GLP comes with a large front wheel in combination with a 27.5 mm rear wheel and also has 160 millimetres of travel. Special feature: Instead of a power tube, a 500 mm power pack is used, which has been placed particularly low and in the centre of the carbon frame. This should make the handling of the bike unique.
