I want fun: 3 women's full-suspension bikes put to the test
In addition to the choice between marathon, trail, all-mountain and enduro bikes, women are faced with another question: unisex or women's version? We analysed three women's bikes in an individual test.

What a stroke of luck: BIKE intern Lisa Gärtitz from Chemnitz has never sat on a fully before. The 30-year-old has always ridden a hardtail. Even in marathons or, as happened in 2019, at the BIKE Transalp. So when buying a bike, she has never been faced with a crossover of categories: Racefully, Trailbike, All Mountain or Enduro. That's why she can approach the three women's bikes we asked her to test individually without any preconceptions and also answer the following questions: How much suspension travel at the rear makes riding on the trail easier for her, and at what point does she find the extra weight that comes with it more of a burden? Both on the climb and on the trail.
