Haibike Heet RC
Great frame, low weight, successful design. Despite its long suspension travel, the Heet RC is also happy to roll up to the starting line at marathons.

At less than twelve kilos, the new Heet RC is undoubtedly recommended for marathon use - and with suspension travel that wouldn't have to hide even in the enduro camp. The frame weighs a sensational two kilos (without shock) and has all the details that are state of the art. Only the bolt-on rear axle is annoying. Hardly any competitor's bike is faster and more nimble on the climbs, and the lightweight Crank-Bros. wheels help. However, the kinematics are not free from the influence of the drivetrain; chain tension activates the suspension, which is remedied by the platform lever on the shock. Compared to the two competitors, the flyweight lacks some stability on the downhill, the Heet rides much more nervously and lacks the telescopic dropper post.

ConclusionGreat frame, low weight, successful design. The Heet RC is happy to roll up to the starting line at marathons despite its long suspension travel.
