In terms of kinematics and design, the Hai "QFS RC" is almost identical to the Canyon "Nerve". And just like its supposed doppelganger, the bike impresses on the trail: a real fun bike for single trail lovers. It is extremely manoeuvrable and well-balanced. However, it needs to be steered very sensitively, otherwise you will quickly hit a snag. The "QFS RC" feels quite at home going uphill. But even here it has a tendency to be nervous. This characteristic is most evident on the downhill: the Hai needs an experienced rider. Otherwise, the bike shines with top equipment and a powerful chassis.
CONCLUSIONThe Hai is not for beginners. Experienced riders will have fun, especially on singletrails.
TUNING TIP: Fit a sportier saddle.
