The Ghost AMR Miss looks like something out of a candy bag. Both in terms of colour and riding technique. Our testers particularly liked the lively bike when it came to tight singletrack sections. Hardly any other bike was more fun to ride and moved so light-footedly over the narrow trails. The harmonious suspension easily absorbed bumps - as long as they were within moderate limits. When things got really rough, the Ghost reached its limits. Nevertheless, the 2.25 mm Nobby-Nic tyres gripped the ground firmly - which conveyed a sense of security.
Overall, you sit very relaxed on the AMR Miss - this allows even bike novices to survive tours lasting several hours without postural damage. However, you have to pedal a little harder on the Ghost - with a total weight of over 13 kilos, the bike ranks in the bottom third.
In terms of equipment quality, the bike leaves a good impression: the SLX gears were easy to operate. The brake levers were particularly impressive: they can be quickly adjusted to the desired distance using a knurled screw. The Fox fork and Mavic wheels round off the overall package.
ConclusionThe Ghost pleases with its playfulness and shines with a solid component mix. The weight could be a little lower.
