Fullys for 2000 euros
You want to invest 2000 euros for a Fully? No problem. But which bike category suits you best? We compared 18 bikes from the cross-country, all-round, enduro and freeride categories.

Have you gambled away all your money in the stock market boom? Such a bad investment cannot happen to you with the 2000-euro fullys in this test. There are no outliers. What clearly distinguishes the bikes, however, is their range of use. Even in this price category, the manufacturers make a clear distinction between cross-country, all-round, enduro and freeride bikes.

Racefullys
The marathon movement has left its mark on race bikes: hard rear triangles and rack-like seating positions are out. Of course, anyone who sits in the saddle for hours on end needs a minimum level of comfort. The seating positions of the new racers are more upright, the suspension travel longer.

All-rounder
Do you want a bike that works everywhere? One that you don't have to carry out complicated adjustments to before every tour? Then you've come to the right place in this category. These bikes are a compromise between a race bike and an enduro bike. The riding position is only slightly stretched, the suspension travel is around 100 millimetres.

Enduros
Enduros have similar requirements to the real all-rounders, but place more emphasis on downhill characteristics. The riding position is even more upright, which ensures better control on single trails and especially downhill. To improve climbing ability, most enduro forks have an adjustment system to reduce the suspension travel.

Freerider
Freeride usually means long suspension travel and a lot of weight. The tyres of three test riders alone weigh more than a kilo each. But they also roll uncompromisingly through scree fields.
