CONCLUSION: luxurious comfort tourer, a real all-mountain, not a racer.

The "All Mountain Sport" category is now a perfect nest for the sportiest Felt-Fully. This is because the "Virtue", which is designed for comfort, did not feel quite at home among the designated marathon racers (see BIKE 6/07 test). Now it can show what it can do. You can enjoy the equipment: Shimano "XTR" complete, including the lightweight wheels. There is also the "Revelation" fork, which can be locked from the handlebars. Last season, the bike with a similar specification cost around 1,000 euros more! Felt uses aluminium for the main frame (hydroformed top tube) and combines it with a carbon rear triangle (the heaviest chassis in this comparison). Felt's "Equilink" system with the red anodised bar for torque support should make platform dampers superfluous. In fact, the bike hardly tends to rock or bob. Uphill you have to fiddle around a bit until you find your optimum riding position. The bike is very long, so you should push the saddle forwards a little and lean it forwards, only then will you get good power transfer. The tubeless version of the Maxxis tyres offer an enormous amount of grip, but subjectively they don't roll particularly fast. Downhill, however, they are a force to be reckoned with!
