Extravagant and light: Storck e.drenalin.2 GTS on test
At 22.1 kilos, the Storck e.drenalin.2 GTS is the lightest bike in the test - and this advantage is clearly noticeable in many situations.

To achieve this, the traditional Hessian brand has provided a lightweight full carbon chassis, lightweight carbon wheels and the slim 630 Shimano battery. The product managers have not sacrificed off-road performance. Shock absorber with reservoir, Schwalbe tyres with robust Supertrail casing, top fork. When you get on the bike, you immediately notice the very long riding position, the bike in Large is really big! The e.drenalin.2 also climbs steep ramps, the front wheel stays in contact with the ground for a long time. The rear suspension is comfortable and traction-strong without lacking support.

Conclusion on the Storck e.drenalin.2 GTS

Extravagant lightweight with lively handling. Convinces on sporty tours, less on racy descents. Attention: Fits very large in L! Tip: fit a shorter stem.

Even on his very first tour, he focussed on single trails - and even after more than 30 years in the saddle of an MTB, these are still the quintessence of biking for him. He spent his youth competing in various bike disciplines and later his cycling career was characterised by years as a riding technique coach. Professionally, the experienced test editor now focusses on e-mountainbikes. In recent years, the qualified sports scientist and trained journalist has tested over 300 bikes and more than 40 different motor systems in the laboratory and in practice.
