It took a long time to realise that fullys have their place on the market. Bianchi is one of the most traditional companies on the market, but it took a long time for them to realise that suspension and a lot of suspension travel are a good thing. For 2015, however, a wide variety of fully concepts are now available.
Race fullys: Methanol FS with 100 millimetres of travel and 29er wheels. Carbon frame under two kilos, three variants from 3699 to 7499 euros. The top model rolls on Crank Brothers Cobalt wheels.
Touring bikes: The Jab FST has 120 millimetres of suspension travel and costs 1999 euros with Shimano Deore/XT equipment. Aluminium frame, telescopic seat post, Suntour fork.
All Mountains: Ethanol FS in 27.5 inches. The rear suspension travel can be extended from 130 to 150 millimetres by moving the rear shock. Carbon main frame with aluminium rear triangle (four-link with Horst Link), 150 mm fork. The Ethanol 27.2 FS Trail costs 3899 euros.
Enduro: Here the abbreviation E stands behind the FS - Ethanol FSE is the name of the series with 160 mm forks (either 34 mm Fox or Rock Shox Pike), of which there are two models. The carbon/aluminium frame of the FST serves as the basis, the longer fork flattens the angles and the equipment is more suited to hard use. Two variants from 4599 to 5499 euros.
