Corratec has high hopes for the newly developed damper technology. Three e-powered bikes with Inside Link 10Hz technology will be available in 2016 - one pedelec and two up to 45 km/h.

In terms of drive, Corratec uses the tried-and-tested Bosch components for the E-Power Inside Link 10 Hz, albeit in the CX version and with a large 500 watt-hour battery. On the other hand, the developers promise Inside Link 10Hz a revolution in suspension. The Rock Shox Monarch shock is elastomer-mounted at the connection to the top tube. This guarantees a very soft response and is designed to decouple high-frequency vibrations.

In contrast to mountain bikes without electric assistance, the chain is guided over two tension rollers to avoid drive influences. The raised chainstays create space for this and prevent the chain from slapping. The Inside Link provides 140 millimetres of suspension travel on the 29-inch wheels. The Pedelec 25 version is priced at 4699 euros, and there will also be two 45 km/h versions.

Corratec concept fatbike

Corratec also presented a concept bike. The basis for this is the Xvert fat bike. The special feature is a retrofitted Aden motor on the rear wheel. A drive ring is mounted in the spokes and catapults the bike forwards with up to five hp. The motor is controlled via a twist grip. The 1000 watt-hour battery pack disappears into the rucksack. The system can also be retrofitted to fullys. www.aden-sports.com
