At 3444 grams, the tested aluminium frame weighs the most in comparison. Despite the light wheels, the 29er also weighs the most in terms of overall weight. The pleasantly long riding position gives you a slightly sporty position on the bike, even if the cockpit could be a little lower due to the high stack. In the tight bends of our test descent, the Drössiger feels a little bulky compared to the 27.5 cm competition. However, as soon as it gets faster, the One Select scores with good smoothness and a high level of safety. In addition, the rear end's excellent absorption capacity is astonishing. No wonder, because as our laboratory measurement shows, the rear suspension provides a generous 166 millimetres instead of the specified 150 millimetres. The equipment is harmonious and of high quality. The frame shape may cause problems for riders with short legs. The seat tube is very long and the standover height is extremely high.
ConclusionThe One Select is a smooth-running twentyniner with a potent chassis and harmonious equipment. However, it could be a little lighter.
