The new Stereo is a lot of fun to ride downhill. The ingredients: wide cockpit with 70 mm handlebars, very good, drive-neutral suspension, long fork. The brakes and 2.4-inch tyres also play their part in the downhill qualities. You fly over the rocky sections, the bike feels stable and really soaks up the bumps. The suspension travel is easy to utilise. Due to the high weight - heavy chassis, heavy wheels - the fun when climbing is limited. The U-turn system for lowering the fork is cumbersome and only worthwhile on long climbs, and the handlebar lockout is superfluous on this bike. The equipment is perfect for the job.
ConclusionCubes Stereo is a weapon downhill. You can get over the sluggish climbing. A harmonious overall package.
