Coal: New enduro fully from Last Bikes
Last Bikes is upgrading in the enduro sector. The steel hardtail Fastforward is now being followed by the new enduro fully Coal. The ingredients sound promising.

After we recently reported on the new Enduro hardtail Fastforward the German bike manufacturer Load the full-suspension brother is now seeing the light of day in the mountain bike world. The new enduro fully has been christened "Coal". The development centred on modern geometry and a low frame weight with the greatest possible compatibility of attachments.

The bike is compatible with both normal thru axles and the so-called Boost standard. The same applies to the cranks: Boost-compatible and standard cranks can be fitted. The BSA bottom bracket shell has an integrated ISCG05 mount for a chain guide. Depending on your preferences, the shock mount also offers space for voluminous shocks with reservoirs such as the Rock Shox Vivid Air or the Cane Creek Double Barrel Air CS. The head angle is 65 degrees and is intended to ensure safety and a smooth ride downhill, while the chainstays are only 428 millimetres long despite the 27.5 inch wheels to make the bike as playful as possible.

Last Coal November to order

Uphill, the Last Coal benefits from a 75-degree seat angle. In addition, the frame weight has been reduced by a whole 750 grams compared to its predecessor. The new aluminium frame weighs 2.89 kilograms in size M, the complete bike should be available from 12.5 kilograms. Prices and final equipment are not yet available, but will be known by 1 November at the latest. The bikes will be available to order from then, with deliveries starting in February 2016.

Last Bikes sells its mountain bikes directly. More information about Last Coal will be available from November on the website www.last-bikes.de.
