The Numinis Float from Centurion is an independent, good-natured tourer with comfortable suspension.

A look at the weight table shows: At a good 2.6 kilos, the shiny gold Centurion aluminium frame offers the lightest base in the test field. The wheels (4469 grams) and the total weight (13.1 kilos) are nothing to complain about either. The pleasantly upright riding position and the most efficient kinematics of the group make you forget the lack of shock lockout. As soon as you release the fork lockout on the handlebar lever, the Epicon only releases 117 millimetres - but these are fully usable. The rear end also absorbs big hits well when the rebound is fully open. The 68 mm head angle and the wide cockpit (680 mm handlebars) make the Numinis a safe bet for downhill riding. Small things, such as the unprotected chainstay and the weak brakes, cost points.

The rear suspension of the Numinis Float with its X-Fusion shock offers a lot of riding comfort. Due to the somewhat high breakaway torque, the rear suspension does not respond quite as sensitively to small bumps as the fork. The fork also lacks a few millimetres of travel and its end progression is slightly firmer than the rear.
