Canyon Nerve XC 7.0
The Canyon Nerve is the sportiest and best overall package and therefore deserves the BIKE-TIP for a mail order bike.

The series winner of the last few years could also compete in the price class above 2000 euros. That's how balanced and solid the lightest bike in the field impressed our test riders. On the steep gravel ramp on our test lap, the Nobby Nic literally stuck to the ground thanks to the sensitive but efficient rear suspension. The Nerve was correspondingly plush on the rough downhill trail section: two well-tuned Fox elements are in a class of their own. In addition, the lightly mixed Shimano groupset and an attention to detail and workmanship that is exceptionally good. Tip: Women can escape the black anodised look with the 100 euro more expensive and 300 gram lighter women's version (silver/purple).

Conclusion: the sportiest and best overall package.

The Nerve XC has very harmonious Fox suspension with almost exactly 120 millimetres of travel. The characteristics of the rear suspension and fork are almost congruent. The sensitive suspension responds very evenly to the smallest bumps. The full suspension travel can be utilised without any problems with the right setting.Photo: BIKE Magazin The Nerve XC has very harmonious Fox suspension with almost exactly 120 millimetres of travel.
