Canyon Nerve XC 6.0
Clear test victory for Canyon. Equipment, riding characteristics and workmanship are the measure of all things in this price class. A sporty all-mountain bike for little money.

The entry-level model of the Nerve XC 6.0 also makes an impeccable impression and builds on the good test results of the more expensive models. The frame finish, weight and equipment clearly stand out from the rest of the field. With a Shimano XT crankset combined with SLX/XT drivetrains, Mavic system wheels and Syntace and Easton components, Canyon play all their trump cards and guarantee impeccable, long-lasting performance. Details such as internally routed cables, neoprene chainstay protectors and protective film under the down tube round off the harmonious picture. You won't find any cheat packs.

The suspension with a sporty 125 millimetres at the Fox damped rear also responds cleanly and offers good usable suspension travel without bottoming out. Even the rebound, which has been criticised for being too slow in the past, was a perfect fit. The rear suspension pumps only slightly when pedalling out of the saddle and guarantees plenty of propulsion from tour to marathon with little flab on the hips. With a low front end and comfortable cockpit, the Nerve XC 6.0 also climbs really well.

PLUS Best equipment, low weight, super workmanship, harmonious chassis
