Cannondale Jekyll Carbon Ultimate
A real all-rounder. Plenty of suspension travel downhill and low weight with variable suspension uphill.

The versatile, lightweight Jekyll is definitely one of the best bikes in the world and rightly deserves a place on the podium in this competition. With a difference of just one point, the bike is on a par with the second-placed Radon. Thanks to the Fox Dyad shock, the all-rounder has a broad base and will therefore suit many riders.

Uphill, the Elevate mode not only helps against unwanted bobbing, but also prevents the rear end from sagging. In combination with the steep seat tube angle, we could easily do without lowering the fork even on the 400 metres of steep Jochberg gravel. As a special treat, the Cannondale guys pimped a Lefty Max Carbon to 150 millimetres. Very good stiffness and a weight at SID level fit perfectly into the all-round concept. In addition to many lightweight carbon parts, the XTR Shadow Plus rear derailleur and tyres with a grippy rubber compound emphasise the downhill quality, even if the steering angle (standard 67.7°) is quite steep.
