How to use Bulls at the E-Core the Shimano option of combining the drive unit with an integrated battery. Nevertheless, the battery can be removed for external charging. On the test course, the discreet black bike hardly shows any weaknesses. The 150-millimetre suspension with solid Rockshox components is potent, and Magura's top brakes decelerate reliably in an emergency. On climbs, the front wheel rises a little early despite the front-heavy riding position. Shifting is done with Shimano's Di2. Thanks to the Shimano drivetrain, the electronic drivetrain knows exactly in which crank position it is allowed to change gears.
CONCLUSION Shimano's Di2 works perfectly with the Steps drivetrain, and the Bulls E-Core Di2 FS has an excellent rear suspension. One of our favourite eMTBs in the practical test.
