Bulls presents the Copperhead EVO AM 2 as an anniversary model for the 60th birthday of ZEG in 2026. All-mountain category new definition. The Bosch Performance Line CX motor delivers 100 Nm of torque and the PowerTube battery stores 800 Wh. The full-suspension chassis works with 150 mm suspension travel at the front and rear. The MonkeyLink cornering light and Twinlights provide illumination.
The new model is aimed at riders who want to master both challenging climbs and technical descents. Product Manager Johannes Koch explains: "We designed the Copperhead EVO AM 2 as a thoroughbred all-mountain MTB." The development took place in the Bulls TechCentre in Cologne.
The frame combines a monocoque carbon main frame with a 4-link aluminium swing arm. This design accommodates the fully integrated 800 Wh Bosch PowerTube. The battery should be very easy to remove. The 4-link kinematics should deliver maximum stiffness and outstanding response behaviour.
The suspension works with 150 mm travel front and rear. RockShox supplies the Lyrik fork and the Deluxe shock. This combination aims to optimise traction in rough terrain. The rear triangle was specially developed for the requirements of all-mountain riders.
The fifth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor powers the Copperhead EVO AM 2. The Smart System delivers up to 100 Nm of torque thanks to the performance upgrade. According to the manufacturer, this motor generation offers sensitive modulation for sporty e-bikers.
The Smart System allows the smartphone to be used as a display. At the same time, the MonkeyLink 2.0 system charges the phone inductively. This interface also allows additional LED lamps to be fitted.
The MonkeyLink cornering light sits in the head tube and goes with the steering. The MonkeyLink Twinlights are hidden inconspicuously in the dropouts. This lighting system has already won numerous awards.
Shifting is done with the Shimano Deore XT with 12 gears. TRP Slate EVO brakes with 4-piston callipers provide deceleration. A dropper post is part of the standard equipment. Schwalbe Magic Mary tyres take care of the ground contact. Preparation for a kickstand mount is available.
The anniversary model is available in three colours: Laurel Green, Light Purple and Graphite Black. These exclusive colours underline the special character of the model. Brand Manager Friedemann Schmude sees the Copperhead EVO AM 2 as "proof that a classic name can also stand for modern, accessible premium performance at an attractive price in the e-bike age".
The Bulls Copperhead EVO AM 2 costs 4999 euros and is now available from ZEG dealers. This anniversary price positions the bike in the premium segment with an attractive price-performance ratio.
