Watch out for action: Jordie Lunn puts the pedal to the metal on his E-MTB
An E-MTB is for pensioners and paved roads? Not that many people still believe this myth. But with this video clip, freeride veteran Jordie Lunn dispels it once and for all.

Jordie Lunn entered the freeride stage 20 years ago, dropped into the depths at the legendary freeride contest Rampage and had countless segments in popular bike films. Then he disappeared from the scene. Now the Canadian is back - and is transferring his freeride skills to an e-bike. He has produced an impressive clip for his sponsor YT Industries. It's worth taking a look!

More e-enduro and freeride action in EMTB Magazine

We've already had the chance to chase the new YT Decoy, which Jordie Lunn rides in the video, over trails. Find out how the genuine E-Enduro performs in EMTB 2/2019, available from newsagents now! We also asked three e-MTBs to take part in a three-way battle for wild action.

E-Enduros in a three-way battle

In the current issue, we've also asked three classy E-Enduros to take part in a three-way battle: BMC Trailfox AMP SX, Ducati Mig RR, Intense Tazer Pro. Three times 155 to 170 millimetres of suspension travel, three times guaranteed fun. Which bike will impress in demanding terrain? One thing is clear: these three rockets will make bikers happy who focus on descents and trails.

Florentin Vesenbeckh has been on a mountain bike since he was ten years old. Even on his very first tour, he focussed on single trails - and even after more than 30 years in the saddle of an MTB, these are still the quintessence of biking for him. He spent his youth competing in various bike disciplines and later his cycling career was characterised by years as a riding technique coach. Professionally, the experienced test editor now focusses on e-mountainbikes. In recent years, the qualified sports scientist and trained journalist has tested over 300 bikes and more than 40 different motor systems in the laboratory and in practice.
