As part of the BIKE reader survey, 15,000 participants also voted for the "Bike of the Year". You could vote for your favourite bike in five categories. These are the mountain bikes of the year 2019!

In 2019, we once again voted for the "Bike of the Year". BIKE readers were able to vote for their favourite 2019 bike in five categories: Hardtail, Racefully, Trailbike, All Mountain and Enduro. There were five bikes to choose from in each category, each of which impressed the BIKE editorial team with top functionality, innovative approaches or an excellent price/performance ratio. The selection was integrated into our BIKE reader survey and a total of over 15,000 participants voted.

Bike of the Year 2019 - Hardtail category: Simplon Razorblade

These four hardtails were also nominated: Cannondale F-Si, Bulls Black Adder, Mondraker Chrono Carbon, Centurion Backfire Carbon

Bike of the Year 2019 - Racefully category: Canyon Lux CF

The Canyon Lux CF impressed several times in the <a href="mountainbikes/marathon/the-fastest-worldcup-bikes-in-comparison-test/a40390.html" rel="noopener noreferrer">BIKE test</a>: it was voted "Bike of the Year" in the race full-suspension category with 100 millimetres of travel.Photo: Hersteller The Canyon Lux CF impressed several times in the BIKE test: it was voted "Bike of the Year" in the race full-suspension category with 100 millimetres of travel.

These four race bikes were also nominated: BMC Fourstroke, Corratec Revolution iLink, Orbea Oiz, Santa Cruz Blur

Bike of the Year 2019 - Trail Bike category: Canyon Neuron CF
