The German premium bicycle manufacturer Storck Bicycle launches its new webshop at storck-bikes.com with an integrated online configurator. The digital platform will enable customers to design their personalised dream bike in detail and then order it. With the launch, Storck is responding to the increasing demand for personalised high-end bikes and is consistently expanding its digital presence, according to the manufacturer.
The new Storck configurator aims to enable the step-by-step customisation of all relevant components via a user-friendly interface. Particular attention was paid to the visual representation, which shows the configured bike in real time and in detail from various perspectives during the design process. With the realistic 3D visualisation, Storck aims to convey as authentic an impression as possible of the future bike.
Various configuration options are available Frame qualities to choose from: Platinum, Pro and Comp. The range includes Circuits from Sram, Shimano and Campagnolo as well as wheels from DT Swiss, Zeitjäger, Scope and Classified. Customers also have a choice of different options for handlebar stem units and other add-on parts.
In the area Design the palette ranges from metallic finishes and matt colours to individual paint finishes. For special design requirements, Storck, in cooperation with the customisation specialist MadeOne, even offers exclusive Customised paint finishes with personalised advice.
The makers of the online shop particularly emphasise the transparent pricing. Every change to the configuration is immediately displayed in terms of price so that customers can always see the current total price.
The platform also enables ergonomic customisation: different frame sizes, stem lengths, saddles, handlebar widths and crank lengths are available to find the right bike for you. When you collect your bike from one of the Storck stores in Germany (see below), each bike is also ergonomically adjusted to your individual riding position.
Storck emphasises that each bike is carefully assembled by an experienced two-wheel mechatronics technician or master craftsman in what is known as "nest assembly". With this production principle, the respective bike is completely assembled by a specialist instead of dividing the individual work steps between different areas and different hands. In this way, Storck aims to guarantee the highest quality down to the last detail.
If customers have requests that are not shown in the online configurator - be it a special component, an equipment variant or a design detail - Storck offers personal support to make the individual dream bike a reality.
