Restless in Tachertin - On the south-eastern edge of Germany, Jochen Klieber has been inventing bike parts that are better than most for over ten years. His company philosophy is not based on university diplomas, but on the children's book "Stupsi explains the tree".

Jochen Klieber is not a coral. That's why he rocks from right to left on his mushroom-shaped office chair, from one large flat screen to the next. He turns a kind of joystick with one hand and simultaneously clicks the cursor into any number of buttons in a sophisticated design programme with the other until the head of the virtual seat post is positioned as desired. Rotates on the orthopaedic seat mushroom away from the design and says: "People have to move when they think. After all, he's not a coral!" Klieber the person certainly isn't. Fixed in place and rigidly waiting for a brilliant idea to float by? No, unimaginable for someone like that, because: "Every really good company was founded by someone with conviction."

His company is called "Jo Klieber Development and Sales", employs a dozen people in a converted mill on the eastern edge of Upper Bavaria and is primarily known for its lightweight, clever stems and handlebars from the "Syntace" brand. There are no university records on the designer Klieber, as he taught himself everything. Nevertheless, the internet finds him as a speaker at a trade fair for computer-aided design. "Whether someone makes an inhuman effort or has a great qualification doesn't count for me. What counts is whether someone produces something that makes people happy without unnecessarily harming other living beings." Two consequences of this realisation: His food comes from the health food shop.
