Susanne Puello, Managing Director of the Winora Group for many years, is leaving the company. She is leaving the Winora Group, which includes Haibike, Winora and XLC, at her own request with immediate effect.

Susanne Puello, great-granddaughter of the founder, and Felix Puello have expanded the Schweinfurt-based company over the last two decades: The Haibike bikes, which are of interest to us e-mountain bikers, were among the first e-mountain bikes on the market. Haibike is one of the market leaders and also won our reader award last year.

The Winora Group also includes Haibike also Winora, Sinus and E. Wiener Bike Parts with the in-house parts brand XLC. The products are sold throughout Europe, Asia and the USA. When it comes to ePerformance, Susanne and Felix Puello are regarded as the founding fathers who have changed the e-mobility market for good.

According to the press release, the reason for Susanne Puello's departure is "irreconcilable differences due to restructuring measures of the Dutch Accell Group". Suasanne Puello commented on her departure from the Winora Group: "After an unprecedented success story, it is with a heavy heart that I will be leaving the company. Until the very end, the Winora Group was characterised by the charm of a family-owned company, characterised by close relationships with specialist dealers, suppliers and vendors. As of today, however, I will be looking for new challenges."
