Until now he has been riding a marathon bike, but now EMTB reader Thomas E. from North Hesse is delighted with a new Rotwild R.X375 Pro worth 8999 euros. Our lucky fairy has drawn the name of the North Hessian from a lottery pot of over 6000 survey participants.

What topics are you interested in, what tours do you go on, how big should the battery on your e-bike be in the best case scenario? With our large EMTB reader survey, which took place from March to June 2022we wanted to get to know you, our readers, even better. And thus make our magazine even more exciting for you. A small incentive to take part: a new R.X375 Pro from Rotwildwhich was raffled off among all participants.

That fits: Reader Thomas wins Light E-MTB from Rotwild

In the end, Lady Luck drew Thomas' name from the lottery pot. The enthusiastic mountain biker subscribes to EMTB, but up to now has mainly sat on his race hardtail and his marathon fully. A bike with a motor appealed to him, if it weren't for one problem. "We discussed the topic of e-MTBs with our mates time and again. Mainly to defuse the peak loads when biking. We're not getting any younger. But 25 kilograms was too heavy for us. Around 16 or 18 kilos would be ideal." Thomas had never considered the lightweight Rotwild e-bike before.

Until his phone rang a few days ago. Now Thomas already has the new e-bike in his garage. The 55-year-old picked it up personally from Rotwild and was allowed to take a look behind the scenes at the high-tech forge from Dieburg. Now the new Rotwild E-MTB has already completed its first tours, and Thomas has also purchased a second battery for extra-long tours. "With one battery, it's perfect for the home round, with the second, even long tours are no problem." Thomas has already covered up to 120 kilometres and 1500 metres in altitude in a single tour, with more to come in the future.
