A passion for MTB tuning
Whether it's performance, weight or looks: there's still room for improvement on almost every standard mountain bike. We have taken a closer look at three of today's most impressive tuning bikes.

For our tuning special in BIKE 8/2020, we travelled all over Germany to get an idea of the most exciting tuned mountain bikes currently available. From a high-end enduro bike to an ultra-light race full suspension bike and a 7.6-kilogram race hardtail, everything was there. We have summarised the most important details for you in this photo story. You can read the story and background of the creators in BIKE 8/20 - in stores from 7 July. Our special issue also explains what makes tuning a passion - and what it actually achieves.
